Went here tonight for my birthday dinner everything was delicious. Had a slight hiccup with my smothered chicken but it was quickly resolved with no problems. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid back. I will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. Our server was Esther and she did a wonderful job very attentive and polite.
The food was delicious and I wish there was one closer to home. The meatloaf sauce was so delicious! Also the Old fashioned flight is a unique experience and very good. The chicken cock whiskey was a surprise favorite.
This was my first time at Tupelo Honey, and the atmosphere alone is worth the visit—warm, welcoming, and full of Southern charm. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which were packed with flavor (the squeeze of lemon added a perfect touch), and the Mahi served with tomato soup and Brussels sprouts. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned, but the tomato soup stood out—rich, comforting, and delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
Clean and dynamic atmosphere. No wait and great service. The FOOD! I had the fried green tomatoe app and sweet potato entree with espresso pie. I also had the classic mimosa. They all encapsulated creative higher style southern cooking. I say vote with your doll hairs and GO HERE! You won't regret it.
Our experience at Tupelo Honey Pittsburgh was excellent! The service was outstanding — our server was beyond words and truly deserves a promotion. The entire team was attentive, energetic, and made us feel so welcome. The chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious, and the steak and eggs were very good. The grits were just okay, but the mimosa flight was refreshing and fun. The **biscuits with two different jams were an awesome starter so delicious! And the sweet potato pancake was truly to die for. My mother-in-love felt like a queen celebrating her birthday. Thank you, Tupelo Honey team, for such a warm and memorable dining. The restaurant is beautiful inside with plenty of seating and a full bar.
Food, drink, and atmosphere are amazing. Everything eat or drank was well crafted. Their “honey dust” flavor was infused into many of the menu items. I had the honey spicy fried chicken. It was juicy and had been marinated for 16 hours. I also had a Bloody Mary that could have been its own meal! Highly recommend the experience and making reservations before you visit. The location is downtown Knoxville and offers lots to do before or after a meal.
I wanted to attend the Steelers v. Cleveland Browns game so we drove all the way from Charlotte, NC to attend our first Steelers game!!! We were starving and wanted something good and close by the stadium and stopped by this spot! We were able to make a reservation within minutes and once we arrived, were able to be seated within minutes. It was beautiful, all the black and yellow waiting for food and enjoying conversations. Our waitress Emma was so sweet and ensured that we had everything we needed! I ordered the steak, eggs, crispy potatoes, but I wanted the grits also and she helped me make a great decision in ordering them also. My husband had the Chicken and Waffles and the sauce that came with it was amazing! Everything was great and when we return for another game, we are definitely visiting again!
